DAIRANGER GETTING AN OFFICIAL SUBBED RELEASE VIA SHOUT FACTORY! Guess Zyuranger was a big hit! Apparently they didn't announce it during the formal announcement part of the panel because they knew people were gonna ask about it. I guess this means we're gonna see them release post-Zyu Super Sentai seasons in order of their use in Power Rangers? (Source: Tokusatsu Network)
POWER RANGERS DINO CHARGE RETURNS AUGUST 29TH ON NICK, NOON ET/11AM CT! About time. You can check out the Tokusatsu Network for the full SDCC Dino Charge panel, the new teaser trailer, the full fixed version of the Super Dino Charge promo from the 2015 Licensing Expo, and some other treats!
HUGE ALL DAY FREE KAIJU MOVIE MARATHON LIVESTREAM ON JULY 18TH FROM SHOUT FACTORY! Collaborating with Famous Monsters, Shout Factory TV will be streaming a selection of Godzilla movies and Ultra series (Ultra Q and Ultraseven, which are now legally streaming on demand on Shout Factory TV's site, so don't worry if you miss them due to them being aired so early in the morning!), starting at midnight ET on July 18th/9pm PT July 17th. They also have noted Japanese film buff currently employed at Shout Factory August Ragone on commentary, which I would assume is being done as bumpers in between movies much like the MST3K Turkey Day marathon. Ragone has written loads about tokusatsu before, including the book Eiji Tsuburaya: Master of Monsters. If any of you are hitting up G-FEST this weekend (July 10th-12th), he's there, so maybe he'll give you a little insight in what he's got planned for commentary!

GET THE VIZ MEDIA ENGLISH VERSION OF THE ULTRAMAN MANGA BEFORE ITS OFFICIAL RELEASE! While the Ultraman manga panel Viz Media had on Friday is done, the creators, Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi (Anyone read Hybrid Insector? Yes, these guys are doing an official toku comic!) are still at SDCC doing signings for the whole weekend. If you can't wait until August 18th for the physical and digital release of the first volume of the Ultraman manga in English, you can get an advanced copy along with a special Ultraman figure for $30.
